Gearbox president Randy Pitchford loves Bungie, as well as Call of Duty 4 developer Infinity Ward. He also loves their respective franchises; he just wants something different.

This thing made me do a double take. At first I thought it was just a run-of-the-mill Halo 3 screenshot, until I noticed the date and time in the bottom right corner, the temperature in the bottom left, and the track listing at the top of the screen.

Here's this week's Bungie Watch, a day late and a dollar short (whatever that means).

According to a poll conducted post-E3, Halo 3: ODST is the game most gamers want to purchase following the convention, with 53% saying that they were "definitely or probably interested."

I first reported on Daniel Petric back in December. He was the teen who shot his parents, killing his mother, for forbidding him to play Halo 3. His attorney argued that his client wasn't to blame, and although the Judge does find fault with video games, he ruled that they couldn't be used as a defense and Petric was convicted of aggravated murder.

Today, Daniel Petric was sentenced.
