Multiple users are reporting having trouble playing Halo 3: ODST on their consoles, with the game either skipping or sometimes not reading at all.

The Bungie forums are busy with these reports, but it looks like the majority of players are able to play the game. For some, installing the game to the hard drive has solved the problem.

If you have a problem with your copy, send your story to Test Ninja Alpha on the Bungie forums. They're currently trying to figure out if it's a disc issue or a hardware issue.

If you're having problems with ODST, feel free to discuss them (or just vent your frustration) in the comments.

Well, sucks for them, really... I mean, my copy works perfectly, except for the fact that it sticks for a second or two when loading... But then again, it has a LOT of awesomesauce to load, so it's understandable. XD

My friend has a really old xbox that makes scratchy sounds whenever it plays a game and he ended up having to buy a new copy of odst because his xbox somehow scratched that disc.....and his xbox gets two red rings every like 3-10 minutes of playing something. sucks for him lol
