A four parter?! That's too much information! Believe me, I know. This week I talk about the Mongoose's uses (bam!) in multiplayer.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the passengers on the Mongoose can carry flags in Capture the Flag modes, as well as bombs and what-not. This ability extends beyond useful and becomes almost mandatory if you want to gain the lead. They're vulnerable to attack, but their speed makes up for their combat weakness.

Mongooses are often used on racing maps created in forge. Warthogs can also be used for racing, and on rough terrain they're actually faster, but the smaller size of the Mongoose makes them ideal. They can even fit through containers!

An effective - though frustrating - tactic in CTF games is to park a Mongoose next to where a flag spawns. Oftentimes when players attempt to grab the flag, they'll accidentally hop on the vehicle instead, giving you more time to get there. Keep in mind that your teammates are not immune to this!

Mongooses cannot be hijacked, though opponents can jump into the passenger seat and take out the driver.

Finally, due to the vehicle's small size, it will attract much less attention than bigger vehicles, sometimes allowing you and a passenger to zip across the map unnoticed.

Next week I'll talk about the Mongoose's various appearances.
