If you manage to get 100% completion in Halo Wars, you'll get yourself a snazzy achievement that reads "ready for the sequel." Why would Ensemble Studios throw in such a thing when they knew they were shutting down? Read on to find hope.

VGB reminds us that when Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer announced that Ensemble would be closing its doors, he mentioned that the leadership team would form a new development house and work with Microsoft on future products and also provide Halo Wars support post-launch.

Two more development groups have come out of the Ensemble remains, one of them being Robot Entertainment. Robot consists of 45 veterans from the Age of Empires developers. They currently provide online support for Halo Wars and are working with Microsoft Game Studios on Halo Wars DLC. With Robot's former Ensemble employees teaming up with MGS's former Ensemble employees, they form an "ensemble" of people that are perfect for producing a Halo Wars sequel. And given that Halo Wars has already sold almost half a million copies in America and Europe, chances are looking pretty great.
